Where are they now? Serge Boisvert
Where do you live now?
I’ve lived in Drummondville for 49 years.

What are you doing now?
I’m the director of business development and public relations for a company called Délipomme, in Drummondville. We make various applesauces that are distributed across Canada.

How many times per year do you lace up the skates?
I play with the Legends and with Canadiens Alumni. We play anywhere between 35 and 40 games per year.

Have you kept in touch with any former teammates?
Yes, especially with Canadiens Alumni that play with the Legends as well, like Stéphane Richer, Sergio Momesso, Gilbert Delorme, Gaston Gingras and Lucien Deblois. We get together almost every weekend.

How many Canadiens games do you watch per year?
I watch a lot on television but I definitely prefer seeing the game live.

When was the last time you were in Montreal to watch a game?
My company has season tickets so I’m often at the Bell Centre with clients. During the week, I’m there for pretty much all the games.

Who is your favorite player on the current roster?
I really like Maxim Lapierre and Guillaume Latendresse, and it’s not just because they’re playing well. I’ve always enjoyed watching them.  They’re two Quebec natives that give it their all for the organization.

Of all you’ve collected and still have from your years with the Canadiens, what’s your favorite?
I have my red jersey from the 1986 Stanley Cup Championship.  It’s framed and hanging up in my basement.

Where do you keep your Stanley Cup ring?
I keep it in the bank, well-protected.  I take it out maybe once a year on special occasions
