A SIXTH NORRIS TROPHY FOR HARVEY
On May 2, 1961, Doug Harvey further solidifies his place among the NHL’s all-time great defensemen, winning the Norris Trophy as the league’s top blue-liner for the sixth time in seven seasons.

No other Habs defenseman in club history boasts as many Norris Trophies. To this day, only fellow legend Bobby Orr of the Bruins stands ahead of Harvey in league history.
