NO. 12 RETIRED FOREVER
On November 12, 2005, the Canadiens kick off their Centennial celebrations in grand fashion when they retire the No. 12 in honor of Hall-of-Famers Dickie Moore and Yvan Cournoyer. The honors are well-earned; Moore twice finished atop the league in scoring in addition to raising six Stanley Cups with Montreal, while Cournoyer earned 10 Stanley Cup Championships, including the final four as team captain.
