NO. 29 RETIRED FOREVER
On January 29, 2007, Ken Dryden’s legacy is immortalized in a ceremony retiring his trademark No. 29. Over the course of his brilliant eight-year NHL career with Montreal, Dryden led the Canadiens to six Stanley Cups, including four straight from 1976 to 1979. His success between the pipes would also lead to a Conn Smythe Trophy, a Calder Trophy and five Vezina Trophies.
