Right-winger and Dolbeau, Quebec native, Alain Caron, was traded to the Canadiens by the Oakland Seals on May 21, 1968, along with Wally Boer and Oakland’s first-round picks in 1968 (Jim Pritchard) and 1970 (Ray Martyniuk) in exchange for Norm Ferguson and Stan Fuller. In his two games with the Habs in the 1968-69 season, Caron was held off the scoresheet. He was picked up by the Western Hockey League’s San Diego Gulls as part of the Reverse Draft on June 10, 1970.
