Brought on board from the Eastern Ontario Hockey League’s Hull-Ottawa Canadiens to replace Claude Pronovost at the beginning of the game’s third period, Cyr let in one goal in the final 20 minutes of action. The Maple Leafs would go on to win the game by a score of 6-3.
