Hailing from Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec, Denis Dejordy was traded to Montreal along with Doug Robinson, Dale Hoganson and Noel Price in a deal that sent Rogatien Vachon to Los Angeles on Nov. 4, 1971. With nearly 300 games already under his belt between the Blackhawks and the Kings, DeJordy played seven games with the Habs in 1971-72 during which he posted a record of 3-2-1 while also picking up an assist. The Canadiens sold his rights to the New York Islanders on Jun. 6, 1972. DeJordy ended his NHL career following the 1973-74 season as a member of the Detroit Red Wings.
