Originally from Montreal, Quebec, right-winger Earl Robin’s rights were sold to the Canadiens by the Chicago Blackhawks on Oct. 11, 1939. He played his last 11 games in the NHL with the Habs during their 1939-40 campaign, recording one goal and four assists while also taking part in the All-Star Game. Robinson also played for the Montreal Maroons, winning the Stanley Cup with them in 1934-35.
