Born in Montreal, Quebec, defenseman Enrico Ciccone was Minnesota’s fifth-round pick and the 92nd overall selection in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. After stints with the North Stars, Washington Capitals, Tampa Bay Lightning, Chicago Blackhawks, Carolina Hurricanes and Vancouver Canucks, Ciccone signed as a free agent with the Canadiens on Jul. 7, 2000. He played his final three games in the NHL as a member of the Habs in 2000-01, and was handed 14 minutes in penalties over that time. He announced his retirement on Dec. 8, 2000 and now manages several players currently in the NHL.
