Hailing from Ottawa, Ontario, Skene Ronan was traded to the Canadiens by the Toronto Blueshirts on Jan. 17, 1916, in exchange for Ernie Dubeau. He played 14 games with the Habs during their 1915-16 campaign, recording seven goals – including a hat trick on Mar. 4, 1916 – and five assists, in addition to winning the Stanley Cup. Ronan also played for Haileybury, Renfrew, Ottawa and the Toronto Shamrocks.
