Hailing from Regina, Saskatchewan, center Francis Huck was a member of the bronze-medal-winning hockey team representing Canada at the 1968 Olympic Games in Grenoble, France. He signed a contract with the Canadiens as a free agent in March of 1970. Huck played seven games with the Habs, during which he collected a goal and two assists. He was traded to St. Louis on Jan. 28, 1971, in exchange for the Blues’ 1971 second round draft pick (Michael Deguise). Huck remained a member of the St. Louis organization for the next two seasons.
