Originally from Ottawa, Ontario, defenseman Harold Starr was traded to the Canadiens by the Ottawa Senators on Mar. 23, 1933 along with Léo Bourgault in exchange for Marty Burke and Nick Wasnie. He played 17 games with the Habs during their 1932-33 campaign, recording eight penalty minutes. He was claimed off waivers by the Montreal Maroons on Dec. 5, 1933. Starr also played for the New York Rangers and the Detroit Red Wings during his time in the NHL.
