Hailing from Montreal, Quebec, Jean-Louis Bourcier signed a contract with the Canadiens on Dec. 18, 1935. In his only stint in the NHL he played nine games with the Habs during their 1935-36 campaign, recording one assist in that time. He was loaned to the International Hockey League’s Pittsburgh Yellowjackets on Jan. 10, 1936, along with his brother, Conrad Bourcier.
