Larry Landon was the Canadiens’ eighth-round pick and the 137th overall selection at the 1978 NHL Entry Draft. He played his first game with the Habs on Mar. 15, 1984, in a 3-2 win against the Edmonton Oilers at the Forum. Landon played only one other game with the team that season, recording no points. He was traded to the Maple Leafs the following year on Feb. 14, 1985 in return for Gaston Gingras, and played his last seven games in the NHL with Toronto.
