Hailing from Toronto, Ontario, Len Broderick came to the Canadiens on loan from the Ontario Junior Hockey Association’s Toronto Marlboros on October 30, 1957 to replace the injured Jacques Plante. Broderick allowed two goals in the Canadiens 6-2 win over the Maple Leafs in Toronto.
