Hailing from Sudbury, Ontario, left-winger Léonard Lafrance’s rights were sold to the Canadiens by the American Hockey Association’s Duluth Hornets on Nov. 10, 1926. He made his NHL debut, playing four games with the Habs during their 1926-27 campaign, and another 15 the following year before being traded to Chicago on Dec. 30, 1927, where he finished his career.
