Originally from Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, center Léo Murray came to the Canadiens on loan from the Providence Reds on Jan. 23, 1933. In his only stint in the NHL he played six games with the Habs during their 1932-33 campaign, recording two penalty minutes in that time.
