A bronze medal winner at the 1994 Olympic Games in Lillehammer, Norway, Marko Kiprusoff was the Canadiens third-round pick and the 70th overall selection at the 1994 NHL Entry Draft at the age of 22. He made his NHL debut against the Philadelphia Flyers on Oct. 7, 1995. Bouncing between the Canadiens and their Fredricton farm-team, Kiprusoff played a total of 24 games with the Habs that season before going on to continue his career in Europe. Kiprusoff returned to North American in 2001-02 to play for the New York Islanders before going back to play in Europe until 2010. He is the brother of NHL goaltender Miikka Kiprusoff who has spent the majority of his career with the Calgary Flames.
