Originally from Verdun, Quebec, Léonard White was traded to the Canadiens by the American Hockey League’s Buffalo Bison, along with Murdo Mackay in exchange for Jack Adams on Jan. 14, 1946. During his only stint in the NHL he played four games with the Canadiens during their 1945-46 campaign, over the course of which he recorded a point and was assessed two penalty minutes. He was returned to the Bisons on Oct. 8 1946.
