Hailing from Regina, Saskatchewan, right-winger Murray Balfour played five games with the Canadiens during their 1956-57 campaign, recording one goal and one assist. The Habs sold his right to the Chicago Blackhawks, along with Terry Gray, on Jun. 9, 1959. He won the Stanley Cup with the Chiacgo in 1960-61. Following five seasons as a member of the Blackhawks, Balfour played 15 games with the Boston Bruins during the 1964-65 season before announcing his retirement.
