Normand Baron signed with the Canadiens as a free agent on Mar. 15, 1984. He played four regular-season games and three playoff games with the Habs during their 1983-84 campaign, recording 34 penalty minutes. The Canadiens sold his rights to the St. Louis Blues on Sept. 30, 1985, where he went on to play his last 23 games in the NHL.
