Never drafted into the league, P.J. Stock made his NHL debut with the Rangers in 1997, going on to spend three seasons with the New York team. Originally from Montreal, he signed as a free agent with the Canadiens on Jul. 7, 2000. Stock played 20 games with the Habs during which he recorded one goal, two assists and 32 penalty minutes before being traded to the Flyers on December 7th along with the Habs sixth-round pick in 2001, in exchange for Gino Odjick. Stock also played for the Bruins during his time in the NHL.
