Originally from Toronto, Ontario, Paul Ronty began his NHL career with the Boston Bruins, taking part in a pair of All-Star Games in 1949-50 and 1950-51, before going onto play for the Rangers, with whom he received another two All-Star invites. His rights were sold to the Canadiens by the New York organization on Feb. 20, 1955. Ronty played nine games with the Habs, finishing out his season with the Montreal club before going on to announce his retirement from the sport.
