Hailing from Collingwood, Ontario, Reginald Noble was picked up by the Canadiens as part of the Toronto Blueshirts’ dispersion draft on Feb. 11, 1917. He played eight games with the Habs, during their 1916-17 campaign, recording four goals and an assist. He signed a contract with the Toronto Arenas on Dec. 5, 1917, winning the Stanley Cup with the new team that same season. Noble won two more Cups over the course of his career – one with the Toronto St. Patricks in 1921-22 and another with the Montreal Maroons in 1925-26.
