Hailing from Saint-Boniface, Manitoba, right-winger Rosario Couture won the Stanley Cup as a member of the Blackhawks in 1933-34. Chicago eventually sold his rights to the International Hockey League’s Cleveland franchise in June of 1935, who in turn, sold his rights to the Canadiens on Oct. 21, 1935.
