Scott Sandelin was the Canadiens second-round pick and the 40th overall selection at the 1982 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut on Mar. 16, 1987 against the New York Islanders at the Forum. Sandelin played seven other games with the Habs the following season, recording one assist. The Canadiens traded him to the Philadelphia Flyers on Nov. 7, 1988, in exchange for Jean-Jacques Daigneault. Sandelin finished his NHL career with the Minnesota North Stars in 1991-92, playing one last game in the league for home-state’s team.
