Terry Gray made his NHL debut with the Canadiens during their 1963-64 campaign, in his third stint within the Montreal organization after already having the team own his rights twice, in 1960 and 1962. Along the way, he played 42 games as a member of the Boston Bruins. Gray was traded to the Detroit Red Wings (Pittsburgh – AHL) on Mar. 1, 1966, in exchange for Claude Laforge. He would also play for the Los Angeles Kings and the St.Louis Blues during his time in the NHL.
