André Binette was loaned to the Canadiens from the Quebec Hockey League’s Montreal Royals on November 11, 1954, to replace the injured Jacques Plante. Despite letting in four goals that night, Binette still logged a win with the Habs going on to down the Blackhawks 7-4.
