Born in Stratford, Ontario, Bob McCulley played as both a right-winger and a defenseman. He signed with Montreal on Oct. 23, 1932, and played one game with the Canadiens in 1934-35, scoring no points. McCulley was traded by Montreal to the Boston Bruins for Sheldon Buckles on Dec. 2, 1934.
