Born in Verdun, Quebec, center Robert Lee was loaned to the Canadiens by the Quebec Senior Hockey League’s Montreal Royals on Dec. 19, 1942. He played one game with the Habs in 1942-43, scoring no points. Lee went on to have a successful career with England’s Brighton Tigers before retiring in 1954 at the age of 42.
